Ban reports

Well most people have nothing to hide. But being able to link an IP to names and locations makes mass surveillance so much easier.

Plus there is no reason for an ISP to give static IP addresses, there are far too many negatives for the company just so "some mistory man can spy"

1. IPv4 has a limited number of unique IP addresses. With the growing number of internet-connected devices, the demand for IP addresses has exceeded the available supply.

2. Assigning static IP addresses to every customer would require additional infrastructure and resources from ISPs. They would need to implement systems that track and manage the allocation of static IPs, which can be costly to maintain.

3. Dynamic IP addressing simplifies the configuration process for most home users. With dynamic IP assignment, users don't have to worry about manually configuring their network settings or dealing with potential conflicts when multiple devices share the same IP address.

To learn something new cause you were obviously a network engineer in the 90s. Metropolitan Area Networks. Multiple people can have the same external IP.
