It's a mod that switches a lot the game image assets into a "black picture". So when you enter the game everything is black. Initially it was only on hd mode. Eventually some mod switched legacy assets too.

That makes ram usage (and GPU usage) way lower

Maybe CPU too. But tbh I never had GPU or CPU issues so I only care about ram

Yeah but even at low settings and 8fps it strains your PC way more than with block hd. But then again, it's only an issue if you run a bunch of accs at the same time

I never paid for it. But idk if its openly available for everyone or not. I got it at first in our private clone walk group. Now I see some versions around in different d2r discords.
