When you pop all of the seals, some loot still drops from the monster that you skipped.

What is a good pickit range for the bot to catch some drops?

Config.PickRange = 40 is the default

so from your character to the side of the panel i believe is around 14-16. u can kinda judge how wide to make it based off of that
 
is there any disadvantage from having the pickit range a ridiculously large number to potentially grab anything?
 
maybe lag or increase chance of crash but its something youd probably have to mess around with. i personally have never had any issues with 40 just because its basically a whole screens distance away. if u can see the item ur pickit can also see the item at 40.
 
i turned my down to 25 which also makes it look more realistic in public lobbies.
40 was like almost two screens away lol.
I also noticed my crashes went from 10-15 games to about 25+
So may have an effect on memory usage, etc.

I've kept mine at default range and get crashes every 100+ runs. You shouldn't be crashing every 25+ games. Are you using blockHD?
